Gingerbread Bliss Balls

1 smartpoint each

220 grams medjool dates, pits removed

150 grams almond meal

2 Teaspoons ground Ginger

1 1/2 teaspoons ground Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground Nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground Cloves

1 tsp fresh Ginger, grated (optional for a ginger kick)

2 Tablespoons boiling water

Soak the pitted dates in the boiling water whilst you get the rest of the ingredients ready.

Process all the dry ingredients together and the fresh grated ginger. Add the soaked dates one by one until mixture comes together in a ball and is uniformly mixed.

Roll into 25 heaped teaspoon sized balls, refrigerate.
